Learning & Organisational Development Coordinator
10-month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum (DOE)

About Us:

Delt is a commercial company owned by the public sector and working in the public interest. We deliver significant social-economic benefits to Plymouth, Devon and the wider South West peninsula, priding ourselves on fostering innovation, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. Our mission is to empower organisations to achieve more by providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive. At Delt, we are driven by our commitment to community, quality, and the continuous development of our people.

The Role:

As the Learning & Organisational Development Coordinator, you will be an essential part of our Workforce & Brand team. Reporting directly to the Chief People & Culture Officer, you will be responsible for the coordination, planning, and administration of various people initiatives across the L&OD and HR team. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our people initiatives run smoothly, efficiently, and in a customer-focused manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and administer a variety of learning and organisational development activities and projects.
  • Manage and maintain our learning and wellbeing platforms, including tasks such as running reports, uploading and assigning training modules, and ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Handle the coordination of corporate induction, training administration, and performance management reporting.
  • Support the Health and Wellbeing plan across the company in collaboration with the HR team.
  • Assist with the coordination of external training courses, including researching costs and managing logistics.
  • Provide general administrative support, including managing room bookings, organising refreshments, and handling correspondence.
  • Work closely with the wider HR team and Recruitment Business Partner on various projects.

About You:
You will bring proven experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally within a similar environment. Your ability to take initiative, solve problems, and maintain a solution-focused approach will be essential to your success in this role. Strong technical skills, particularly with Microsoft Office are a must, and any experience working with an LMS (learning management system) would be a huge bonus!

We are looking for someone who is not just capable but also positive, enthusiastic, and ready to inspire confidence in others. You should be comfortable managing your workload independently while also thriving as part of a team.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary up to £24,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • 25 days annual leave, with the opportunity to buy and sell up to 5-days of leave per year.
  • A hybrid working environment with the flexibility to work both remotely and from our office in Plymouth.
  • Opportunities to be involved in meaningful projects that contribute to the growth and development of our team and organisation.
  • Excellent staff benefits including flexitime, up to 10% matched pension contribution, charity leave, and much more!

If you are passionate about people development and are looking for a role where you can make a difference, we would love to hear from you.

Closing date: 27th August 2024
