The Role
As a Service Administrator within our Infrastructure department, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient delivery of services. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, process improvement, and working closely with different teams, including Finance, Procurement, and IT specialists. If you are looking for your first opportunity within IT; this could be the role for you!
Your primary focus will be to audit, rationalise, and optimise network and telephone line usage across our organisation. You will engage with customers, colleagues, and suppliers through email, video calls, and site visits to ensure accurate record-keeping and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits on telephone numbers, network circuits, and domain registrations, maintaining an accurate register of each.
- Engage with customers, suppliers, and building owners to verify network connections and assess their usage.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in our infrastructure services.
- Provide administrative support to enhance the efficiency of the Infrastructure department.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and previous experience within an Administrative role.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Experience working collaboratively in a team.
- A proactive approach to learning new skills and technology in an enterprise environment.
- Willingness to learn Microsoft Project and ServiceNow within six months.
Previous experience working within an IT department and knowledge of PowerBI would be desirable but are not essential.
