Project Manager (Fixed term contract for 18 months, Full time 37 hours per week) / £45,000 – £55,000 p.a.

Delt is a brilliant contradiction. A dynamic and agile private sector company with a serious conscience that is wholly owned by the public sector. It is somewhere you can do the right things for the right reasons while playing a real part in a growing business.

The Delt Project Management Office is committed to delivering a wide range of business change and transformation projects for our main clients, Plymouth City Council and the NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group, and to our commercial customers. Our projects are predominately IT related.

We are deploying our Digital Locum solution (GP in the Cloud) across seven NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups in the Southwest of England and need an accomplished Project / Programme Manager to deliver this programme of work. The digital locum solution enables the full delivery of remote General Practice care on demand utilising an internet based virtual clinical desktop. The product allows locums to connect to the clinical applications used in General Practice from any location using any device. To be effective in this role you must have extensive experience of delivering complex projects; interacting with senior stakeholders; working at pace; working closely with a large and complex stakeholder community in integrating this digital solution into their standard ways of working with limited mentoring from day 1. You will be a confident communicator verbally and on paper. An IT background would be useful but is not essential. Experience of working with the NHS would be beneficial. Government sector experience is very important.

This role is offered on a fixed term contract for 18 months. You must be based in the UK, able to work virtually and ready to travel to our Plymouth office and various NHS locations in the SW of England when required.

In addition to a competitive salary, we have an attractive package of benefits including a maximum 10% pension contribution, performance related pay and 25 days annual leave. If you want to know about the total package we offer, please see our future employee page here.

Deadline for applications: Applications ongoing, however applications will be considered on a rolling basis, so please apply early.
