Delt is a brilliant contradiction. A dynamic and agile private sector company with a serious conscience, that is wholly owned by the public sector. This is a unique opportunity to join the board of a growing, commercial business whilst doing the right things, for the right reasons.
Whilst Delt is owned by the public sector, we operate like a dynamic and agile private limited company – and it works! Time and time again, we deliver on all fronts and very much in excess of our shareholders’ original expectations. In short, Delt exists to help our partners and clients do amazing things.
We’ve grown from a couple of ex public sector IT Teams in 2014 to a £21M holistic support services business that delivers critical services to over a million people. Our current marketplace is predominantly the South West and that’s both our physical and spiritual home but what we do can work anywhere. We are now operating across multiple sectors with opportunity for growth in volume, breadth and geography.
The role of NED is an exciting opportunity to play a fundamental role in shaping the future of service delivery and Delt’s continued growth and success. If you are inspired by our vision and mission and offer the skills and experience needed to strengthen our Board, we welcome your interest and look forward to receiving your application.
What we need from you:
- Do you have a set of skills and experience that can help us succeed?
- Do you have experience operating in an environment of change and transformation?
- Do you have the time and commitment to help make our growing and innovative company the best it can be?
- Are you excited about our objectives?
- Do you personify our values?
We would love to hear from anyone who believes they have the requisite skills, experience and attitude but are particularly interested in those bringing diverse background and skills to the board, especially (but not limited to):
- Cyber risk, security and prevention
- Business growth
- Healthcare
- Legal and contractual matters
- Risk and compliance
In particular, we are looking for those with a private/charity sector background looking to apply their skills within the public sector.
