IT Service Desk Telephone Receptionist

Temporary Role (circa 2-months)

Through our teams of dedicated people, Delt supports more than 900,000 people across the Southwest. Our support services aid GPs, children’s social care, local councils, and many other critical services. We’re growing and we need an IT Technician to help us, help our customers.

This role will provide telephone assistance, multi-site and diverse organisation, with multiple client requirements from both local government and health sectors.

 

Working as part of the Client Services team, you will be the first point of contact for customers that contact Delt’s Service Desk, handling incidents, service requests and enquiries, providing predefined services to our extensive customer base. It is important that you have good communication skills and strong empathy in order to provide the standard of service Delt customers expect.

 

You will be talking to our customers daily, logging their issues in our service management application.

 

Are You:

  • A proficient user in a range of Microsoft packages?
  • Committed to providing excellent customer service?
  • Available to join us at the start of September and commit to a 2-month temporary role?

 

Do You:

  • Have good customer handling skills?
  • Are you polite and courteous when engaging with other
  • Are you patient? Customers may be frustrated or confused, so the ability to remain calm and patient while assisting them is key.
  • Have empathy?  Understanding and showing concern for the user’s frustrations can help in providing better service and building a positive rapport.

 

Working Hours and Location

Our team works on a 3-week shift rotation, with the earliest start at 7:30am and the latest finish at 7:00pm. Please note, this is a 100% office based position, working on-site at our Derriford Business Park office.
