IT Field Engineer (Full time 37 hours per week, Permanent)/ £25,000 – £30,000 p.a.

Working with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers, you’ll be involved and closely aligned with the business to deliver a range of technical services. We need a IT Field Engineer who will enable our clients to continue doing amazing things.
Accountabilities
As an IT engineer in the field, you will carry out installations, fixes and decommission activities for our customers, resolving site-based incidents and provide technical advice and support, in line with agreed processes and procedures.
You will take responsibility for delivering the IT support and request fulfilment service for all Delt’s customers, including NHS, local authority and educational trusts across the region. This will be achieved by delivering against policies, plans and strategies relating to ITIL Incident, problem and change management and reviewing and updating procedures when necessary.
You must keep technical documentation accurate and current, and due to the location of our customers there will be a regular requirement to travel.
As the front face of Delt, you must always uphold all our values and behaviours and work in the most effective and efficient way in accordance with IT strategy, technology architecture and best practice industry standards.
Knowledge and Experience
- 5 GCSEs Grade A*-C to include English and Math’s, or relevant work experience.
- Relevant Microsoft MCP, SDI, CompTIA qualification or a commitment to study.
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- Experience of working in a customer focused IT environment.
- A Full UK driving license.
