Do you want the experience of working in this sort of dynamic environment? Do you want to apply your skills to doing good and helping us grow? We need a Bank Catering Assistant with previous catering experience preferably in a school setting that will enable our clients to do amazing things.
The Role: Catering Assistant

We are looking for someone to support our Kitchen Managers as required Monday to Friday’s covering staff absences within a variety of schools based in Plymouth. Due to the ad hoc nature of this position you will require a high degree of flexibility.
You will be required to assist in the preparation of meals, keep the working area clean and tidy and serve meals to the pupils in a timely manner. This includes dish washing and daily cleaning duties.
The Candidate:
- Catering experience, including chopping vegetables, making sandwiches and serving food.
- Cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
- Knowledge of Allergens and Food Intolerances
- Experience of working as part of a team working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety practice in a busy working environment.
- Experience of working with children.
- Experience of cleaning areas to agreed hygienic standards.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
Hours per week: As required
